Did you pay Kotomile back yet?

I hope Kotomile gets what PAI owes him because Wyotech is five minutes out of my way and there's also the ride to Kinko's for photocopies of the fliers to put under everybody's windshield wipers explaining how PAI screwed him for a few lousy bucks. It's lot of hassle, but heck, I've got the time.

From what I've heard WyoTech has a pretty solid reputation. One way they try to keep that reputation is by doing their part to make sure their students represent them well after they've graduated. Towards that end they've included as part of their admissions requirements a student code of conduct. Here is is:
Admission Prerequisites
As a prerequisite for admission, each WyoTech applicant must sign and agree to abide by academic and professionalism standards in our Student Conduct Code. Students who follow the code are better able to focus on learning, earn better grades, and are more employable upon graduation.
Violations of the code of conduct include:
* Dishonesty
There are, of course, others, but it's interesting that Wyotech would put dishonesty at the top of their list of violations. Drugs, alcohol, threatening behavior, sexual harassment, weapons; these are all on the list, but hey, who doesn't slip up now and again. But dishonesty; that's number one. Folks hate dishonesty.

I mean, I resisted the urge to ban you when I stumbled across your ten spams (and eleventh forsale post) past night. Honestly, that kinda **** usually just gets auto-nuked, but I didn't.
I resisted the urge to ban your whole IP range when I figured out that this was a duplicate account.
I went through all the trouble to write you a really nice, non-hostile PM clearly explaining the situation and offering you a clean way out. All you had to do was contact Koto, make good on your past business, and directly inform me of your progress. I even offered to see about taking down all your various personal info that's been posted around here.
Instead, you ignore me and continue lying to my friends. How do you think this makes me feel? I'll tell you- it makes me a sad panda.
'Course, now it sounds like that Thucydides guy is pretty serious. It's amazing me how little it takes to ruin a reputation, and how much it takes to repair one. Hell, sometimes it's damn near impossible.

We'll give PAI, aka Paianda Noor, aka Slidin'Miata916, aka ProjectFox87, etc., a little time to come to his senses, and to evaluate the cost benefit ratio of doing the right thing verses pocketing Kotomile's heat shield money, and hopefully this mess will all come to a quick end.
If not, Kotomite can fill me in on the facts, I'll put something together on an 8-1/2 x 11, copy it thirty or so times, and take a short ride out to Wyotech. It's no bigee, but so unnecessary and very costly for the scammer.

Oh, gee, I forgot, it's not Pai, it's just someone who makes the same sort of posts, has the same tastes in cars and mods, knows his father, lives in the same city and uses the same IP address..

Well, the allotted time for our friend Mr. Noor to make amends has come, and since it appears he has been "Bannisheded", I'm guessing he's not had the epiphany I had hoped he would have.
It's up to you, Kotomile, to decide whether you want me to follow up on my commitment, or to chalk up the $35 loss as small potatoes and be satisfied with his banishment. Should you choose the former, you'll need to send me the particulars of his offense, and more particularly documents from him detailing his obligation to you, your attempts to collect his debt to you, and his response (if any) detailing acknowledgment and obligation of those debts. Hearsay and undocumented accusations won't fly, and I won't use them, but scammers usually leave an ample trail of documentation. So, "good by and good riddance", or do we warn those around him to be cautious in their dealings with Mr. Noor?

I have no personal animosity at all towards Mr. Noor, but if he is indeed how Kotomile portrays him he is little more than a parasite and undeserving of even the smallest degree of respect. Whether Kotomile wants to waste any further time with him is up to him; for me it's a small matter either way.

I was over at the other Miata website and stumbled across one of Pai's old posts there.
"First Cloth gets sucked in the intake, Now the cars impounded....Ahh.
It was lunch time and 3am and i was driving to work. I had a pice of cloth zip tied on the afm filter adapter. I just bought an air filter and was in the car and was late for work to swiitch it. Well, my luck....It got sucked in and the car died.....so now my car was stuck there. Then the cops called my house and said their twoing it??j why i have no idea. it was in a Ikea furniture parking lot.......Im so mad.....I cant wait til its 8 pacific time. im going to the police station."
This is what happens when the cheetahs are no longer free to remove the slow and stupid from the gene pool.

It's probably not so much like that as it is when you've exchanged thousands upon thousands of dollars of parts with complete strangers from all over the country based solely upon your trust in them as honorable people, and over time you begin to value and appreciate honor and honesty more and more, the flip side is that you similarly learn to loath dishonesty and dishonor more and more, and with a similar or stronger vigor
Sorry to hear that happened to ya Koto.
