Default Hello from Southern Missouri!

Hello! My name is Justin and I have been throwing away money at my 95' Miata for 7 years now. I live in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, there are so many great back roads here to thrash a Miata on, and being close to Stl and Memphis makes it pretty easy to get out on the track.

My Miata has seen a few facelifts over the years, It started life factory red, then someone repainted it orange-red then I had the great idea to chalkboard paint the car, then had the better idea to get the rust fixed and painted by a professional. I have loved this car over the years, but its time to let it go and buy a motorcycle, or spend that money on bills.

Thanks for having me! I hope I can pass on a fun car to someone who will love it as much as me!

You seem to have been misdirected. This isn't craigslist.

Hmmm, That kind of sucks, what are the requirements to post? There is nowhere that I saw that said anything against this.

Our friend Justin is the sort of guy who doesn't make an attempt to find the rules and instead asks that we show them to him. I'm not sure we can continue to be friends Justin.

Our friend Justin also didn't bother to read the "Ultimate Noob 1st Post" thread that he posted in. Causing us all to laugh at the ongoing joke of anyone that posts their "OMGHAI2U" post in that thread. Every time.

Every.

Time.

Maybe the problem isn't that Justin is to lazy to read. Maybe he doesn't know how to read very well.

Now I feel bad for laughing at that post. I'm sorry Justin. The journey to becoming fully literate can be a struggle for some.

Maybe it's you guys with the reading problem? Nowhere here does it say that I can't try and sell my car, just that I have to make a few posts and wait a few days.

Thanks for being nice about it, this is half the reason I want to distance myself from the car culture. Do you think what you guys are typing is helping anyone?

Do you have 10 posts? Have you been a member for more than 10 days? If the answer is no to one or both of these questions then, as I previously stated, you can't post your car for sale here. Yes, I know, I know, reading comprehension is hard.

Clubroadster is probably a community that would fit you better. I've heard the admin is a pretty cool guy.

I'm sorry, was this a post about how I can't post to the classifieds? I know what I have to do, and that Its a shitty thing to just spam the pages.

This WAS an intro post, until two toxic people, who, from the looks of your history, just shitpost pointless comments across this website, started telling me that I can't post to classifieds because this is not what the sight is for.
At no point in my original post did I say anything about not being able to post and why.

Get a life dudes and stop being so shitty to people for no reason. Life is a lot easier when you aren't always trying to put people down.

This is sounding familiar.

You wouldn't happen to normally post on /r/miata, would you?

And you're right. You weren't asking why you can't post. But your very first actual post (besides the hilariously inappropriate one in the "Ultimate Noob Thread") was you saying you were selling your car. 110% of the time this means you aren't here to contribute anything to the community, but rather just use this forum as your own personal free CL in order to post your car for your benefit. You don't like how car culture/community is. Tell us, how is what you're doing doing anything to improve it?

And so far you've contributed nothing other than amusement at the offense you're taking at getting called out for doing the one thing that this community/culture hates more than anything.

No, but you're crying just like the last dude who complained specifically about me. He happened to post on /r/miata. I was just curious. Strangely, when going back through post history of the two of us interacting, i was nothing but helpful and he even admitted it. Some people just want to be offended, i suppose.

I'm sorry that i posted about etiquette. I didn't mean to trigger you.

Ahhh, well, I’m glad we could have this good talk, and thanks for helping me make my post goal so I can post to the classifieds in a few days. I would have rather posted to other threads, but this works just as well.

You must be fun at parties.
