Heretic looking to get into boating
Hi everyone,
I'm a long time lurker, that got rid of my 99 last fall. My NB was also relatively stock with DIY bilstein coilovers (shout out to whoever did the write-up on this site), sway bars, hard dog rollbar, and other silly bolt-on's.
I haven't been following the market but it seems like NB's that aren't held together with structural salt have significantly appreciated. So I'm in the market for an NC with a popped motor that can be the donor for a 2.5L. My plans are to track it 1-3 times a year and if time allows, I'd like to turbo it. Nothing crazy, just something reliable and fun that can keep pace with relatively stock 86's and ND's.
Any insight and stories of what not to do will be greatly appreciated as I'm getting old and time is a luxury.
