Default 👋 hey

Hello, I'm Lee, I'm new here and was reffered here by many miata folks. Located down south in Florida, I own a 1994 miata with the original 1.8 engine and a resurfaced head. The car originally was an automatic but gathered all the parts needed and now runs on a 5speed manual trans. In the long run, I'll be planning on SC the car with the BOFI install kit for the mxr using the minicooper S blower. I'm really trying my best to do as much research I need in terms of how to set up the car step by step, but I hope to learn and use this forum to the fullest, hope to make new friends and thanks for the add

Welcome. What is your planned use of the car?

What city in South Florida?

Thanks so much! Im in Homestead FL.The car, ATM, is my semi-daily, as in, I only use it for work 3 days a week, but eventually I would just like to keep it as a weekend/getaway/car cruise/spirited driving, and occasional track days.Power goals are between 200-220 whp, FI of course through the Bofi supercharger kit. Right now I'm just trying to do as much reading for the MSpro and cooling. Its a bit hard to find a decent shop that works on miatas down south, I know more central and up north things are a bit more easier to locate for miatas, so I've taken it upon myself to learn on my own car and did my first 5speed swap on my own. Thanks so much for the welcome 🙏

Solid.

But you should definitely look into a turbo kit instead.
