Default hey

Just picked up a 93, 1.6 with the older FMII kit. I added a WBO2 and started preparing it for track duty. After one session I realize this beast needs airflow to stay cool. Found many threads here on topic. Very cool! I will probably add a vented hood soon. Any advise on tracking a turbo is welcomed.

this wouldn't happen to be ken from autoxforum, would it?

Several of us have upgraded to larger radiators. Do a search for "Godspeed" to see what we've been up to. Also, you should strongly consider performing a coolant reroute to your motor.

Same Ken.

I have the older FM aluminum radiator. Which coolant reroute works best?

thanks

Anything that sends the majority of coolant out the back of the head and returns to the rad. There's lots of options for how you approach that, search and decide for yourself. Seems like somebody is always adding a new twist to the reroute.
