i've looked at this site off and on for a while and finally decided to sign up today.

i don't actually have a miata yet, but i'm working on that. i have been shopping around for a while/test driving. i have to say i was hooked after the first time i sat in the drivers seat.

Also a tip, READ READ READ. You will be flamed to death the first few times you do/say/think something stupid.

yeah i've been reading up on them for a while and i've noticed this site is a bit more unforgiving than mnet. that's a good thing tho.

i'm a vw guy at heart and on those forums most of the people have had a dozen vw's and really know their way around the cars, so i'm used to seeing people who ask silly questions get tossed around a bit. pretty much any time i'm on mnet i find myself laughing and the general sutpidity of some of the posts.

don't get me wrong, it's a useful site, but i don't know what world some of those posters live on.

hahaha i didn't even see that until just now.

the thing is i think they realize how bad it is. i remember seeing a post not too long ago regarding people running FM turbo kits. i think the poster said something along the lines of people actually running those kits don't go on mnet.

the response was something like, "they do, but they just sit there laughing."
