Hey guys.. Turbo '99! :D
Whats up! My name's Kristen and I've been trolling this forum for a LONG time. Picked up a 1999 turbo Miata in December and used this site as a great source for any kind of questions I've had. I'm fairly active on m.net (same username on there as on here) but just haven't been able to handle two forums . So I'm not that much of a noob.
Anywho, the SWEEEET Miata that I have has the ancient BRP turbo kit on it (which has a 2554R water/air intercooler), JR powercard, 5th injector (270cc) etc etc. It's basically a fully built track car that can stop on a dime, take turns like no tomorrow and is pretty fast Thinking I'm making around 200 at the wheels and pushing 7.5 psi, btw.
Right now I'm currently on a mission to ditch the JR powercard and switch to a DIYPNP. Been researching for days on end it feels. Lol. The local performance shop that I'm using is pushing the AEM F/IC but I just don't wanna go there because there's little support for those in the Miata community and more problems with them than successful installs/applications. Any advice would be more than welcome!!!! Lol. But after much research, I've decided that a DIYPNP is the way to go for what I want and need.
Thanks in advance,
Kristen

Tadaaa. Posting again. Where's my 5 bucks?
1. I guess so but we'll see. Lol
2. Ehhhh, it's alright.
3. Upgrading to a TDR air-air sometime this summer after ECU install and after Miata's at the Gap in July. Money's tied up till then.
4. Deleting it upon install of the DIYPNP
5. Not a surprise. Lol
6. Thanks!

Yeah, I agree. The set-up definitely does need a few things done here and there. Going DIYPNP, upgrading from stock injectors to 460s, deleting the MAF, TDR air-air IC and also intake setup for BRP kit, and that's about all that I can remember for now. Lol
Lol yeah, sorry. On the lookout for any kind of money I can get. Trying to save up for the damn DIYPNP, wbo2, injector upgrade, tune etc. Sigh... Lol

As far as exhaust goes I'm running and FM 2.5" turbo midpipe and RB twin tip muffler. Upgrading to full FM 3" turbo system later this summer though. Have so many plans for this car. Lol

Yeah. Same here. Lol. I've got a long way to go before I'm done with this car and by the time I'm done with it as far as my plans are going for it now, I'll be in this car about $2700 not including shipping/handling and installation of the parts. At least I'll stay busy... Lol

Hey now! I'm picky about the pics I take of my car. Can never have enough. Lol. I like photography and I get bored sometimes and like to edit the pics I take of my car... Haha. :P
And yeah yeah, you got me. Was pretty unsafe. Oh well. Guess I just live a life on the edge.... Lol

first one to make a lewd comment I deem unacceptable gets a two day ban.
sick of you 12 year olds giving the rest of us on this forum a bad reputation. I don't care if she really is a girl or not.
