Default Hey. I'm a new owner of. 2001 se. Can I sue?

The engine was broken so I bought one that the mechany claimed had 91,000 miles. Put I. The VIN and over 255,000+ miles on it. Gave it back to me with check engine lights, hood bent/scraping, bolts missing from engine and transmission. Didn't change the front seals like I asked and noticed the leaking 500 miles in. From when it was given back every time I would accelerate and then stop it would sputter down to 300 rpm and sometimes stall. I have him on recording making promises he never kept and including rebuilding my old engine "making it right". Said there were two holes in piston and machine shop wouldn't do it. Does that sound right? Should I take the 2700$ hit or sue his ***? I'm thinking sue because here in ga I've read the law and it seems like he disregarded them. I have video before I picked up my car and photos everyone they have it back to me. Whatcha think?

I think you better learn to write before you go to court. I can't even make out what you are trying to say. Complete sentences man, complete sentences.

Check your plug wires, I’ve had my engine stumble when they come loose. No idea what to do with the rest of that train wreck. Have you called the guy?

This is a perfect learning opportunity to fix your car yourself, and use shops as an ultimate last resort.

That's wild. Is surreptitiously recording your mechanic a normal practice? Why would you patronize an establishment you distrust so much you are willing to record them talking? Do they not provide written estimates and receipts for work?

I hate to say it but judging by what he types he will likely not be dealing with a shop that gives written estimates and/or asking for them. Just guessing.
