Default Hey There

Longtime lurker here. Finally have time and a garage to do more extensive projects on the Miata, figured I'd make an account. In the process of installing a suspension kit from Flyin Miata, will be doing overdue maintenance (timing belt / waterpump / seals etc) and a brake upgrade in the next month or two, and planning on turbo once the car is squeaky clean and well sorted.

I have an NA - 1997. I'm the second owner and the first owner is an older guy who's a friend of mine who drives an ND now.
Presently the car sits in my garage since I work from home, but I know I'd regret selling it. My kids are getting old enough to be interested in working on a project car, so I'm teaching them mechanical things as an excuse to upgrade things. We just pulled the front struts today and I'm 99% certain they're the original 1997 shocks.

The car has been sitting for almost a year but typically I commute it when there's no snow, attend an occasional autocross, and take it out for touring / Sunday drives.

I don't have any good pics, here's one from the garage.
