Had the miata for a bit now, but just logged onto this site to read up.
I don't really hear to much about the car scene over here on the east coast =/
I'm military, so haven't really spent much time in Savannah yet (deployed like 5 months after I got there, just got home a few months ago).

Welcome. There is a track day at Roebling roads the 22nd and 23rd of this month. I should be there most of the day Saturday. You should come by if your free and I could probably answer most of your questions about boosting a miata.

Also what base are you stationed at?

Lars, I'm looking forward to running Roebling one day. I've got to drive to Atlanta that weekend to do some work on the house, but I wish I could come by and watch/meet up.

 

I was curious about if he is near fort stewart also. I lived right off base as a kid back around 96 I think.

I am not running Roebling that weekend but have a few friends from the local club who are. I am going down to help be tech crew and see how it is. Hopefully around Mayish I will have my car running and tuned and can get down to actually run it.

 

Maybe we will both be ready to run on the track by then.

A close fraternity buddy of mine owns a Pizza restaurant in Richmond Hill, between Ft. Stewart and Savannah.

 

Who you guys gonna run with at Roebling? Nasa-se, Chin -some other club? I'd love to get to that high speed corning track - miatas shine there. VIR is also on the list this year, I hope. Welcome nismo -

 

The few track rats from my local miata club normally run with a Porsche club down there. Hopefully I can his up Roebling roads for 2 or 3 events this year. then next year once I have some sort of tire trailer or a tow vehicle I can do VIR.
