Default Honda Fanboy turned Miata Lover

Hey, what's up guys? The name is Bryce and a few weeks ago I bought a 1994 Chaste White Base Model Miata

I had never owned a rear wheel drive car before the miata, and now after a few weeks of driving her around, I don't think I'll ever own another FWD car. My previous cars included a few third gen integra's and a fourth gen prelude. Nothing really worth mentioning, just a bunch of Honda's that were N/A, heavier than ****, and that had expensive exhaust setups which were good for all of 5hp without a good tune.

I ended up wire tucking the prelude and a few other cars while my license was suspended, and had removed everything except ABS (PS,CC,AC were gone), just because it had saved my life in one of my integra's, and I'm considering de-powering this rack, or swapping it for a manual rack, just because Power Steering is still something trippy for me. But we'll see, I've only had the car for a few weeks, maybe PS will start to grow on me haha.

Anyways, my miata, nicknamed "Princess" by my friends, is bone stock and was owned by an old Lady named Georgia. She had bought it brand new in 1994, and used it as her commuter car whenever she drove anywhere. It has 122k miles, and I have all of the records from the dealership, including the first and second 60k miles maintenance, the latter of the two done at 121k miles.

Anyways, I've been creeping for quite some time on this forum, as well as a few others, as I've been planning on buying a miata for quite some time. Mainly because last year when I was in Wompum (Sp?), PA. I was at BeaveRun, watching my friends drift around, and I wanted to join in the fun, and there were rumors of this dude with a 13b swapped miata coming up. He ended up not showing, but I want to say his name is Tyler Nelson or something along those lines. Anyways, I found some pictures of his ride in a slammed thread, and it's pretty inspiring, hopefully someday I'll be boosted, I'm shooting for next summer, but we'll see what goes down.

But, I feel like I've been rambling for long enough, so I'm gonna get back to my forum creepin' and the likes. I'll leave you guys with some pictures of the miata and such. Any questions or comments, just lemme know. If you're still reading this, thanks Lol.

The wire tuck on the prelude might not seem like much, but here is a before and after:

The integra's were meh, so I'm not putting up pictures of them unless you guys like specifically ask for them, because they REALLY weren't anything great haha. Thanks for viewing guys, have a good one

Welcome to the board. Stop thinking about 13b. Rotary doesn't make it cool

Welcome, a few of us came over from Hondas. I had a B16A-swapped CRX Si.

Haha thanks guys, and after having a GS-R, I've always wanted something I could rev the **** out of, so rotary has always been something to think about, but I would want a ride in something with a rotary engine before I ever even thought about the swap. Lol.

before you do that, ask any rotary owner how much work/money they have to keep dumping into their motor JUST to keep it running.

You'll change your mind real quick.

You don't need to rev to 9000rpm if you're making 215+ hp at 6500 in a miata.

It's not like FC's and FB's are expensive. You want a 13B get an rx-7. Drive a miata if you want a buildable 4-pot that vibrates like a tractor.
