Hello everyone!
My name is Laura, and I am part of a group of friends who are currently looking to start our first Miata build! We're looking to get an NA in the near future, and go from there.
I've been interested in building a Miata for 3 years or so now, along with my boyfriend of 7 years! My sister became interested in building one with the start of quarantine and the release of Donut Media's "Money Pit" Series, and knowing that I wanted to build one as well, it wasn't hard to convince me to get in on the build. Our fourth member is a really incredible close friend of all three of ours, who originally wanted to experiment with building a VW bug, but decided that it would be more fun to get in on the Miata with us three!
We decided we're going to call our Miata "SideChick" and get her a custom plate to match. (Yes, cart before the horse, we're still searching for our perfect body, ideally one that runs)!
We're all thrilled to be starting this journey. Can't wait to learn as much as we can!!
