Default Howdy Y'all From Michigan

Hello all. I figure after a couple years of lurking on the site. it is about time I introduce myself. My name is Scott, and I have an addiction. I have been addicted to cars my entire life, mainly growing up around hot rods and muscle cars. It wasn't until I got a ride in my best friends boosted 190E 2.3-16 that I starting venturing over to the import/boosted side of the fence. There is something about the boosted life I just enjoy so much. Don't get me wrong, I am still a fan of the muscle as well (have a 67 camaro in my stable too). However, must could probably care less about anything not Miata, so I will just stick to the Miata details. I have a 92 with a 1.6 (haters gonna hate, but I don't care) built and boosted. I have been with the car for most of its life. I actually bought it from a good friend of mine, and we did a fair amount of the work on the car together. It is the car that got me hooked on Miata's. So, when the time came and he wanted to get rid of it, I had to jump on it. I was in the process of building my e30 at the time, and needless to say the e30 found a new home. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to sell the e30 and keep the Miata.
I am currently working building a new turbo set up for it. It had an older fm2/begi set up on it with a GT2560R. With the help of a buddy of mine, who is an amazing fabricator, to say the least, we are going to build a new turbo set up, utilizing a EFR6258 turbo. He will be doing the header, exhaust, as well as the intercooler stuff, I will be drawing up the header flange, building the ecu (megasquirt DIYPNP, had a LINK previously), as well as doing all the wiring for COP's, sequential injection, ect. Below are some pics of the car, granted these are from a couple years ago, and I have done more to it sense, but it still pretty much looks the same. Also, a pic of the current progress on the ecu. Just waiting for the MAP sensor to come in and I have a couple more jumpers to add and it will be done. I plan on running everything through the harness and not the DB port.

Welcome from Farmington Hills. If you're on Facebook, join Michigan Miata Owners. It's pretty small right now, but I'm hoping it starts to grow and become more than a simple for sale page.

Hello fellow michigander! I am on that page already, with a few things for sale as well since I am parting the current turbo set-up.
