So glad this thread was bumped, I completely missed it when I was on vacation in May. Great stuff.

 

So did you even get a dyno done? or a quarter mile time? good work, btw...

 

I'm going to trying and hit the dyno at a local shop here this week. If I break 200whp I'll be happy to be honest. The manifold seemed to open to top end a lot though. Plan to hit the strip when it cools down a bit.

As far as a video I have a bit of a treat in the making.

 

Huh, not sure how I missed this thread the first time around. That parking lot looks very familiar- I believe there's a BW3 just out of frame to the right, and a Moe's to the left?

I haven't looked at the datalog but watching the computer I peaked about 185kpa and held 175. So realisticly 11psi or so. It was hot as ***** so I'm sure that didn't help.

 

Yeah the intake manifold deffinatly opened up my top end. Deffiantly felt that with the butt dyno after install.

that car is gorgeous you did an amazing job bringin it back, major respect.

 

this is probably the most ambitious Miata build anyone's ever done before. The car originally looked like complete dogshit. I wouldn't have bothered with it, but you really turned it around. Good work.
