Default J Swapped NB1

Hi. I’m new to Miatas in general and actually didn’t mean to get the one I have. I was planning on purchasing a track prepared C6 and it was breaking my heart to look at the costs of consumables. No matter how good of a deal that corvette could have been had for, I couldn’t justify the costs of living with it. At a very convenient time, I was told that a friend of mine was selling a V6 Miata and I just fell in love with the idea of it. I’m still learning the characteristics of the car, but if anyone would like more information on the build, I’m happy to talk about it.

Engine: Honda J32A2
Power: approx. 250whp/210wtq
Trans: Miata 5 speed (moving to 6 speed)
Rear: 3.90 Torsen (moving to Getrag 3.23)

PS. I get that I’m not a turbo Miata, but I’m hoping this forum has some information relating to driveline options I’m looking into.

Heres the car

Thats a cool swap. We dont care much if you dont have a turbo lots of people here have track prepped non turbo cars. Might be worth a call to K-Miata to see what they think about trans setups. They currently have the sweet BP and K series trans.

Any info on the purple EG coupe in the background? Looks like a really nice car.

He's asking about a specific drivetrain. I see now, it's strangely worded. He's merely clarifying that he knows it's not a turbo car, but he's asking here anyways.

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe should have been left out all together maybe. Yes, I was clarifying that I plan to use this forum to ask a few questions, but that’s for another post.

I don’t know too much about it other than it’s a single cam car and the owner is really into it. He’s a buddy of mine, so if you had specific questions, I’m sure he’d be cool and answer them
