Default kinda noob from Tehachapi

before you ask where the f**k is that, its pretty much the most northern point of southern california before you hit central cali. Im Michael and some of you may know me from CR.net and KINOD already but those that dont, im sayin hi. ive owned my 95 since august 08, purchased for $5,100. 86xxx on the odo. power windows, a/c, p/s and a torsen. WAS a beautiful looking car, then the high desert's sand, rain, 100+ temps and freezing winters got to it. and some idiot who backed into it and took off... and i definatly didnt help

so far ive made due with a very tight budget on this car, barely spending $2500 in total upgrades on this car. $1k of which was the 00 engine. the springs, clutch, 8lb fidanza flywheel and oil filter relocation kit were all $120 or less each. used KYB AGXs were $200. prototype hardtop $350... etc lol

a recent dyno day put me at 120.6 at the wheels which is pretty healthy for an NB motor, and as soon as i can get back in contact with the guy i will be picking up a modified BEGI kit with MSPnP and an ebay FMIC. hopefully i dont get too greedy with the boost and toast my clutch in the first 100 miles. or anything else for that matter...

So what is the distance between the Northernmost point of Southern California and the Southernmost point of Northern California? Or are they the same?

I'm an hour and a half east of you in Ridgecrest.

What are you're goals for the car? Track/Street? Short/Long term power goals?

r808: its about 36 miles nothing but a few hills between so-cal and mid cal here.

arga: so far its going to be pushing what some might call a street car. its allready half stripped out, black/white/grey camo paint, and my short term power goals are at about 6 PSI till i get a few more miles out of the clutch i put in about 6 months ago... then it will be upgraded and my long term power goals are to find out how much power i can push out of a little garrett GT2554 before it just wont flow any more.

Welcome to MT.net!

You will be on this site ALOT more than you expect, trust me. Good luck with the turbo build and please ask as many questions as needed before fooling around with something you don't understand and destroying you car, just make sure you search first of course

You'll have plenty of fun with the 25R before you max it out.

Btw, what is KINOD? Is it the photography group from CR?
