Picked up a 99 Miata with the intent to......put a Honda motor in it ! Loved my K24 swapped 98 civic, this will basically be the same weight give or take but with RWD...should be a blast.

 

It's a pretty fantastic swap. Can't go wrong with the K24 when put the right way around!

 

No doubt. I love the k series platform....just too bad it took me this long to find the Miata platform

 

You don't happen to be in AZ do you? Judging from the landscape there's a good chance.

I'm in Chandler and there's a few other local guys on here as well. I'm doing a K24Z3 swap in a dedicated track car.

 

Live in Mesa, work in Chandler....going to be a fun street/track car but I'm a total rookie when it comes to auto-x/road racing. All I've ever done is some 1/4 mile in my old K24 EK Civic. Looking forward to trying some new stuff once I swap and then learn the car a bit.

between COVID & being busy at work the Kmiata project took a backseat....discovered the car was wrecked and there is some shady looking repairs in the engine bay so I'm going this route....should be shipping this week. Just got done at powder coat.
