Default Looking at this car

Ok, so this is out of town for me, and I would have to fly in to Austin, TX to pick it up. 1999 Turbo Miata 245whp/231tq It's a 99 Nardi Torino with a custom setup installed by Begi. T3 turbo, 118k miles. Car has had kit on it for about 3k miles. Was a used kit before Begi installed it. Car had large ding on rear fender, that had to be pulled so tire wouldn't rub. Over large bumps one of the pipes under car hits, he said he was looking into the hangar and bushings that hold the pipe. He is unsure of what rear differential in car. Does this look like a good car? If so:

What is this car worth? I don't want to insult the guy, but I would be buying a car with little time to look it over. I was thinking 7.3k Is this ballpark, or overspending. I'm eager to get a car, but disciplined enough to wait.

Thanks

Default probably has torsen

It appears to have the leather package

Leather Package

* Popular Equipment Package plus:
* Tan leather-trimmed upholstery
* Tan vinyl top
* 15 inch alloy wheels w/ 195/50-R15 tires
* BOSE audio system

Popular Equipment Package

* Touring Package options plus:
* Tweeter speakers
* Torsen® Limited slip differential (manual only)
* Cruise control
* Power antenna
* Windblocker
* Power Door Locks

After second look I'm unsure again, should have tan top, but this one has a black top
