Lurker saying hello~!
Greetings and salutations!
I am new to Miata's, gearing up to purchase my first one soon. I am looking to get started in SCCA SOLO and AutoX as well this summer. I am no newb to boost though. My current ride is a 99 Volvo T5 SE with a few minor mods. For such a heavy car, that turbo will launch it to breakneck speeds rather quickly!
Not so good in the turns, but in a straight shot, the old Volvo is hard to catch. I look forward to getting behind the wheel of a boosted Miata! I have really enjoyed the times I have driven the non-boosted ones.
A little info about myself? I am an IT Consultant in East TN. Basically small - large companies contract me to manage their IT needs. I am a Network Administrator, but my job includes a little bit of everything IT related. I also mod handheld and console game units. I used to do some custom case work on computers as well. I do not have a lot of spare time anymore though. New job, new demands on time.
My weekends are usually free though

When you get a car, make sure you put details in your sig and post up some pictures. In the mean time, welcome and put you location in your profile so it'll show up under your name and locals can help you out with finding a car, etc..
