Me noob

Hi all, I've been a member for 2yrs now but never intro. myself. So here goes...
I'm located in Sun Valley, Socal. My ride is a white 95 NA with quite a few mods but mostly suspensions and cosmetics. Looking forward to turbo my car soon but still deciding whether I want to go diy or get a complete kit.
So, pls be gentle with me:noob:.
Thanks

Welcome aboard man.

How about some pics of your car. I get the feeling I'm going to like it.

whitena 03-16-2009 06:56 PM

^^^Thanks, the rear bumper is Racing Beat.

tyson87 03-16-2009 06:59 PM

:slap:
i should have known that...

and thats the V2 trunk from grinder?

whitena 03-16-2009 07:04 PM

No, it's not Autokonexion, it's made by AxisPowerRacing.

Vashthestampede 03-16-2009 07:18 PM

Very nice man! Adding a turbo is definitely a must! :bigtu:

So did your AAC headlights pop in without a problem or give you hell like mine did?

whitena 03-16-2009 07:32 PM

Installation went smooth but the problem I have after is the light pattern is not good, doesn't really light up the road but instead it would light up every freeway signs. So night driving became something that I would try to avoid.:bang:

Nice car.

Can you comment on the windscreen?

BTW, I like how the RB rear bumper looks on your car. For some reason, it looks better than mine.

whitena 03-16-2009 10:55 PM

Sure, after the wind screen was mounted I felt less amount of wind blows back from the rear. So I think it helps a lot but that just me.

I'm sure of that but I mean: where did you buy it, was it easy to install, is it permanently placed or do you take it off?

A windscreen has always been unfinished business with me. I've already bought 2 and I've never used either.

I is jealous.

I'm not sure if it's lexan or plexiglass I used. I just used a large piece of card board and cut it to a shape of the open space first and then just traced it on the lexan or plexiglass and cut it out and smooth out the edges and drill a hole by each corner and then just zip tied each corner to the roll bar. Hope this helps.

Welcome.

Nice ride, I like the trunklid, although if I had one I'd paint it the color of my car. I guess it works pretty well with your black/white theme though.

How did you mount your seats? Recaros are sex.

whitena 03-17-2009 02:12 AM

I bought the seats already mounted to the rails.
The original owner of the seats used stock rails with Recaro side mounts.
