Miata from frozen quebec!
Hey guys,
my name is Marc-Antoine, I live in Quebec Canada where it currently is winter. I am 19 years old and currently studying software engineering at Laval university.
I bought my 94k mile 97 montego blue miata last spring to learn how to wrench on cars and drive stick. At first I wasn't planning on keeping it too long because I wanted an rx7, but it grew on me pretty fast and now the FD is just an other car I would like to own later on. It currently sits on HSD Monopro coilovers and rota grid 15x8 with 205 nitto nt05 tires. I also have installed a competition clutch stage 2 clutch in it after I had to replace the throwout bearing. It is very reliable for its street car usage and most importantly, it is very fun!
My future plans include a coolant reroute, chassis stiffening and safety like a DIY rollbar as well as a hard top and a DIY turbo setup.
Only have one pic atm:
I also have some on my IG
Shameless plug: my ig is alltuned_

Hey from a fellow 1997 Montego Blue owner. Much warmer climate down here in Florida.
I've always wanted an FD as well, and almost pulled the trigger on a shell once. I have an FC, but that's not exactly comparable, and it has no rotary so it's really just a glorified Camaro.

Probably a couple, the miata track scene is pretty nice here and I'd like to learn from the guys that participate in the "Miata cup challenge", which is a friendly track competition here in quebec that features many types of miata, from stock to fully gutted track monsters. I do not intend to only track it though, it is maily a street car for the moment.
Welcome to the forums and welcome to MCC!
I have the white miata with air dam and spoiler in the Mod class.
Most MCC guys drive their car in the street also, sometimes even with full aero on.
Where are you from in Quebec? If you're near Saguenay we could meet up!

I'm from quebec directly, about 2 and a half hours from you! I'd love to meet up someday with other miata guys and go for a ride on some nice "canyon runs".
