Hey! It's been a long time since i've been addicted to a forum, civics...paintball... now the miata. I have yet to own a front wheel drive car and not wreck it (have owned a truck and three RX7's without wrecking), lol. So I decided to get a 'real' tuner car because even if i didn't wreck them front wheel drive tuner cars have limits that FR cars easily suprass.

I was torn between a finding a beaten Z3, old trusty 944 or a miata. Someone finally said to me, "why don't you do a price check on parts for those three cars and reconsider...". lol i then test drove a pitiful miata suffering at a local dealership and had to have one. I found the one in my signature on craigslist down in florida so it's on a truck on it's way up the coast to me as I write this!!! Can't wait!!

The tires are completely unsafe (thread's showing) so i'm considering getting some rims for it while i'm out getting tires but seeing as I haven't even touched the car yet I am trying to restrain myself and wait to see it in person first.

I have gotten an endless bombard of criticism from nearly everyone that has heard of me buying this craigslist car from florida so i'm kinda nervous, never shipped a car, never bought a car without seeing it first, never bought a miata.... this is extremely stressful and very exciting! Wish me luck!
