Obligatory introduction, especially after seeing the "I run the streets all night" thread I feel that I must set myself apart from that immediately.

So hello good people of miataturbo, I feel like this is the best forum out of the the forums i've visited especially since I'm 100% sure ill be turbo'ing the miata i buy down the road. Names Mike, bout to turn 23 and signing up for active duty in the air force. A little later then most but better late then never. I've been around turbo's since i was 16 so it only makes sense to stay with the magical boost snail.

I've been reading faq's and other stuff like crazy, great forum.

Welcome.
Do your research, don't ask beat to death questions or act like that "run the streets" fucktard and you'll do just fine here :)

What year miata do you have?

my buddy has a 9-3 aero - absolutely LOVES it

Trust me, I have every intention to search and read before starting new topics over and over... the saab forums are full of "how can i put a bov my 9-3", its sickening and retarded.

I haven't bought a miata yet, but after researching and figuring out why and what miata I want (project weekend/track warrior) I've come down to a 94-95 (More stout 1.8l and OBD-I)

whatever you find, just make sure it has no rust. seriously. these cars are so easy to work on you can replace whole drivetrains all day long but rust is fucking killer.

200k miles no problem; rocker rust no bueno.
