I've been a long time Subaru guy but I've looking at Miatas for the past 12 years or so. Went from an Impreza 2.5RS to an 04 STI, then bought my 2015 STI Launch Edition. Always wanted a Miata and a few days finally bought my first Miata. It's a 1991 Miata with a 1.8l swap and custom turbo setup. Came with Bilstein coilovers, Sparco seat, Simpson harness, MOMO steering wheel, and 15x9 wheels with BFG Rival tires.

 

Welcome to the forum. It looks like your new car is preparing you for some track days. Is that in the plan?

 

I'll be doing some solo events for sure and plan on doing a track day early summer at either Mid Ohio or Putnam Park.

Putnam Park is such a cool place! I'm hoping to be there on May 22nd.

 

Putnam Park is a great track to learn with few barriers to hit. I'll be there with 10/10ths May 21st-22nd. Gingerman may also be close to you, i'll be there this weekend!

 

I've never been on track, so it sounds like Putnam is the place for a beginner like myself!
