Default My Little Miata

What's up! Been browsing these forums for a while never made an account then made one but never posted lol. But now that I actually have the money to begin this turbo build I feel like I may as well introduce myself. I have a 91 Miata that I bought on August 13th 2015 that was once red, I vinyl wrapped it black because all of the paint was really bad, I'll probably upload some pics of it before and after. Before wrap After wrap, coilovers, and wheels

But yeah plan is to boost it now after almost 2 years, mostly shooting for a conservative 150-200 ish horsepower just so it can have a little more pep in its step. Currently have a new turbo and manifold sitting at home for the car that I'll post pics of later.

I hope you didn't buy a tubular Chinese manifold.

Welcome to the forum. Have you upgraded to a 1.8 diff and axles yet? It's more important that wheels, wraps, or window stickers, haha!

Yep literally the first few things I did to it was prepare it for the turbo by doing all the maintenance. Got a full Torsen LSD swap for the 1.6 with axles, driveshaft and diff for 225 which was a huge steal. I also did an aluminum radiator and stage 3 clutch (eBay xtd stage 3) been almost a year of abuse on that clutch and it hasn't let me down surprisingly lol.

Also have done every seal and gasket on the car pretty much, front main seal, RMS, valve cover, CAS O ring, and cam seals, that's what I can think of right now. Also did water belt and timing belt since she's at 112k miles and was leaking coolant.

Then once all of that was done I did the few cosmetic things recently like wrap and wheels haha. Now that she's all baselined I'm going to turbo it. I've had this turbo and manifold for almost a year now just waiting for me to put it on haha, the manifold is made by Dan from haggard garage and ricer miata and he sent me the turbo as well. Here's a picture of it. All of this was free and given to me. Churbo and Manifold
