My Old M1 Pics and Setup (56K Don't do it)
I'm certainly not new to Miatas, but I've found many don't remember my old M1 and some of the neato shit we (ETDRacing.com and I) used to play with.

Most I ever made with this setup was 498hp. http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m1/450hp.jpg 450hp Dyno Chart! I like the 50 shot of Nitrous! I really miss this car, but I am quite happy I now have this M2! It has an old BEGi/FMII kit, but I am certainly going to upgrade it to a similar, but simple version of my old setup. http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m2/151827_87_full.jpg Enjoy.. More pictures will follow as I dig them up! |

So I made room. http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m1/71.jpg Drivesaft Shop Aluminum Driveshaft. http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m1/32.jpg RX7 Tranny Adapter plate coming together. http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m1/34.jpg Test Fitting it all together! http://m-tuned.com/Marc/m1/58.jpg Strong Rear Setup on the floor. That is awsome, 498 HP! I bet that was wild.

|
I love the torque dampener....fucking chain ftw. hahahha
btw, when dropping the rear assembly...pull remove the PPF, brake hardlines, e-brake, shock mounts, and what like 4 bolts holding it up? |
i remember seeing that bay before, not sure where, the chain i will not forget...lol

i still got wood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Parts of that setup will live on in others Miata's :D
Amazing to see how far we have come in a few years, you can make that engine bay so much less complex now. And speaking of that dash, it was in your basement last time I was over. You could put it on if you really wanted to, not that it would make sense in the M2. |

Mr. K's current drag ride. |
Still miss this Miata but I have grown attached to the A/C and P/S in my current Miata NB and therefore have to do without some of the big power items I was used to.

Looking at changing the car around it bit. John@ETD and I just need to make power and play with cars. This is John's All-Motor CRX he used to drive. It is sitting parked waiting for a new setup. http://etdracing.com/team/vibrant/vibrant1.jpg http://etdracing.com/team/vibrant/vibrant2.jpg http://etdracing.com/team/vibrant/vibrant3.jpg We both also own Mazda's. John@ETD has an 88 Aniversary RX7 and me the 2000 Miata. |
What tires were you running with the 1.3 60ft?
|
BFG Drag Radial
|
Nice. I have been looking for a dedicated drag tire, didn't think about those. I think MT E/T is going to be the one, but damn thats a nice 60ft for a treaded tire.
