Default My Old M1 Pics and Setup (56K Don't do it)

I'm certainly not new to Miatas, but I've found many don't remember my old M1 and some of the neato **** we (ETDRacing.com and I) used to play with.

Photoshoot for Sport Compact National Magazine..

1.39 60ft

Engine Bay in my 1990! Most I ever made with this setup was 498hp.

450hp Dyno Chart! I like the 50 shot of Nitrous!

I really miss this car, but I am quite happy I now have this M2! It has an old BEGi/FMII kit, but I am certainly going to upgrade it to a similar, but simple version of my old setup.

Enjoy.. More pictures will follow as I dig them up!

Miata Diff with KAAZ, vs 88 RX-7 Turbo II Diff

Miata Axles Vs Drivesaft Shop Level 5 Axles

RX7 Turbo II Diff Mounted

Diff was too close to the gas tank for my liking.. So I made room.

Drivesaft Shop Aluminum Driveshaft.

RX7 Tranny Adapter plate coming together.

Test Fitting it all together!

Strong Rear Setup on the floor. Gas Tank is getting installed.

Shifter looked good!

I miss this simple, but effective dash!

Parts of that setup will live on in others Miata's

Amazing to see how far we have come in a few years, you can make that engine bay so much less complex now.

And speaking of that dash, it was in your basement last time I was over. You could put it on if you really wanted to, not that it would make sense in the M2.

Still miss this Miata but I have grown attached to the A/C and P/S in my current Miata NB and therefore have to do without some of the big power items I was used to.

This is the car John and I have which I piloted last year. Looking at changing the car around it bit. John@ETD and I just need to make power and play with cars.

This is John's All-Motor CRX he used to drive. It is sitting parked waiting for a new setup.

We both also own Mazda's. John@ETD has an 88 Aniversary RX7 and me the 2000 Miata.

Nice. I have been looking for a dedicated drag tire, didn't think about those. I think MT E/T is going to be the one, but damn thats a nice 60ft for a treaded tire.
