I'm not into VWs at all but admire that engine. I have no idea what they can push though. What are your goals?

 

Stock with thick headgasket good for 450 at tires, I am going to stop around 350 at tires For now just want to get reliable street toy.

I live in central Florida but usually only home in winter. I seen someone posted about possible 4g63 in miata I would like to see the swap done use to play with a eclipse, dodge. D50 and Mitsubishi mighty max trans are direct bolt up and you can combine 2nd gen pistons in 1st gen block with a little mod to rods and have the heavier bottom end.
