i dont own a miata, but i thought before i buy one id join a forum and do some research. novel idea huh? currently i am looking for somthing to learn to drift in, i realised that i dont want to wreck my 240, after putting so much time and money into it, plus its more set up for top end power/straight line than response and handling

currently i drive an 85 escort (it was cheap and gets good MPG so stfu) and i have a nice 240sx project underway. i live in rochester ny, and i hate ******* potholes.

need to know anything else just ask.

 

if you hate ******* pot holes then stop putting your tiny PEN15 in them.........oh, you will probly get flamed for the drifting ****!

Look, it's great you want a miata. If you plan on turbocharging it there is no better source of information then this forum. We give 'drifters' a hard time here, don't get all butt hurt. Plus the fact that you are only getting a miata because you don't want to wreck your precious 240 doesn't give you much credit either.

the reasons i dont want to drift the 240 is its so cliche. and 10k to build plus like i said its set up for straight line.

OP-didnt you say you have 10k in this car.............looks like you took way to many shortcuts for 10k!

 

its not finished, just 10k in parts so far, i havent tucked wires or anything, hasnt been painted, i got this as a shell. no interior or anything.

i dont have any pics of the finished product, because im still working on it. zip ties are for test fitting btw lol
