New to this forum and new to the Miata life
Hey guys I’m new to this forum, and like the tittle says new to the Miata life, recently thought it would be fun to try and tinker with a new car and came acrosss a 1993 Miata long story short I ended up buying it, drives and runs great no issues in the motor what so ever.
The car is a little different from what I’m used to, but I’m gonna try and ultimately make a decent drag build. Problem is I don’t know where to start, So I came to see if you guys could give me some ideas on a starting point! I want to work on the engine performance before any body work. Thank you guys in advanced let me know what you gotta say 😀

Welcome. I smile when people say stuff like "Miata life" as though it's some type of alternative lifestyle, like you're coming out .(wait, are you coming out? don't be scared, this forum is filled with deviants)
There are very few people on here building Miata's for drag racing. Most of them really stubborn, because a Miata is a terrible drag car. But I won't judge, because I did that too and loved it
