ok, so research is going slow, the more i read the more confused i get. i'm going to start buying parts soon, but have a few questions.
injectors: in the diy faq, it says the 7mgte supra injectors are high ohm, direct fit without resistor box...then right below that it says they're low ohm...which one is it? when it says plug and play replacement does that mean just the injectors are needed, the mazda clips fit? oh, and FD Rx7 injectors aren't on the list for PnP, would they work or no...ironic i only have injectors that don't fit. Megasquirt...i know i should search for this, but i can't seem to find an answer. who builds a pnp for the NB? braineack? (his FS thread only says NAs and i didnt' see an answer the the guy who asked about NBs) DIYautotune? i'm sure i need a certain # of posts to actually pm braineack, but i tried anyway. while i'm at it... EGT sensor. MS doesn't need it to run the car, its just nice for additional fine tuning and monitoring, correct? (probably not but i tried) flame suit on, have at it. |
Read the list again. There are two different injectors for the supra 7MGE
Complete list of Miata plug and play replacement injectors (“F” connector): HTML Code:
Year Make/Model Engine Size/Color Part # Direct fit LOW OHM injectors (“E” connector): 89-92 Toyota Supra (7MGE) NA - (295cc – Yellow Top) - #23250-70040 88-91 Toyota Collora GT-S Turbo (4AGZE) – (365cc – Red-Orange Top) 92-95 Toyota Collora GT-S TURBO (4AGZE) – (365cc – Red-Orange Top) 86-92 Toyota Supra (7MGTE) TURBO – (430cc – Black Top) Toyota MR2 (3SGTE) TURBO – (430cc – Black Top) High Ohm vs. Low Ohm tabs So yes, the lime green top supras are plug and play. The yellow fit but are low OHM. Several RX7 injectors fit. They are listed. Becareful with the Sube injectors, I'm not sure if anyone has successfully used them. You should PM Brain, you'll likely need to wire it parallel. MS doesn't need an EGT sensor. |

I'm planning on making it to the track as much as possible if everything works out this year. It would be fun if they wern't there. Funny thing, we were heading to Veil, and a sheriff pulling a rescue station slid sidways blocking the whole highway, hit the rail, and wound up facing the wronge direction. He is lucky to be alive. Yea I bet ya, he needed new shorts right along with me and my girl. They also have the biggest RABBITS! I have ever seen. I would so barbeque one up. I think they missed the turn near Al-buuur-quirk---yyy. LoL |
