Short nose crank? If you are going to do a 1.8 swap that won't matter, but if you were thinking of keeping the original engine, you might want to find out.

Good, if you want to run the car with that engine for a while. The "short nose" crank is a large reliability problem with the early engines, I think few last past 70k miles.
