Default New and on the hunt

Hi All,
Signed up to all the Miata hotspots to pick the brains and share stories. Currently on the hunt for a summer driver winter project car. Just saw my first car today.

1993 NA - Overall car looked OK, underneath looked surprisingly rust free, it started well but the engine did feel lukewarm to the
touch prior to me starting it(Sun was out, but they could have had it running prior to my visit. Radiator was cold to the touch).

Next up was some noises under the hood. Nothing scary but i don't know what to expect from these engines.
There was relatively quiet squeal from the front and some light tapping or air leaks at the top. I took a video of the engine running to see if anyone can give me ideas on if this was something that was new belt fixable or engine out fix.

Video, camera was right in there, so head phone warning!

Some pics of the delightful color https://imgur.com/a/7rsbG

Owner asking $3400 for it, which i think is fair for the area and condition of underneath, i just want to know what the top/front noises might be.. I think the front might be belts as it clears under a bit of load, but the top om worried its something currently outside my skill set.

Thanks for any help, i hope to join you all soon.

Start with a '94-up chassis because many of the early problems were addressed and it will cost you $1000+ to correct them.
