New kid from Utah.
Hey, my name is Marcus. I'm 22yo, and I live in the Ogden area of northern Utah. I have recently bought my second Miata. It's a 1994 laguna blue "A" package with about 141k on it. I have done all the maintainence on it, as well as a head gasket change. Don't have any pictures of it quite yet though.
My Goals for my car is to have a pretty well sorted out suspension, and brakes. As well as having some get up and go to go along with it. My hp goal is to have a reliable 250whp, but also turn up the boost for a little bit if I want to. I am probably going to do a motor rebuild in the spring with the help of a mechanic buddy of mine. I have started compiling parts for my suspension. I am excited to put them on soon, so I can enjoy my car for the rest of the summer hopefully.
I have been lurking around here, and over on M.net for quite a while. I have Learned a lot from both places. Although over here, it seems like this is more of a younger, performance oriented group. So I think I'll stick over here for the most part.
There my de-nooberization is compleat!!!

Go talk to Larry at Carpenter Motorsports in Ogden. He will either get you a ride in a miata in that power range, or refer you to someone who can give you a ride. He also has any spare part imaginable if you break something.
I did some business with his company, and got screwed over. It goes without saying, I don't go there anymore. It sucks because I literally work down the street from them.
Ya we get **** beer here, can't buy liquor after 11pm, etc. It blows, but nothin a run to Idaho or wyoming can't fix.
Edit: the alcohol from the liquor stores isn't watered down though.
