Hey, im Kevin. I drive a 1990 mazda miata, red, with red hardtop. 1.6L n/a but in the process of turbo. i have a few friends that used the stock turbo from an sr20det, wondering if theres any better suggestions out there?

 

SR20 turbo will work fine, it's properly sized for a 4 cylinder and will make your car faster. It would help if you stated your goals/budget though, and you'd get better response if you post pictures of your ride.
