I have the rising rate fuel pressure regulator, and when the boost comes on, the fuel pressure is directly related with the boost pressure, roughly 8psi of fuel per 1psi of boost... as a result the response is not the best, as when i back off the gas the boost does not cut right away, and because there is some still in the intake manifold that the RRFPR detects, the power still stays on for a second or so. So when I redline in first gear, and shift quickly to second, the rpms stay very high and barely drop at all and I actually grind the synchros going into 2nd... just a little bit.
