Default Newb looking for a motor

Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a little while and been gathering all the info. I could so far. I need to find a motor for my miata, 1.8, a few weeks ago either the main or rod bearings in mine went out. Until I get her running again I won't really be able to move forward with the turbo kit or anything for that matter.

If anyone on here has a 1.8 for sale, please hmu. Need to get something asap.

yea, been there, done that. None at the two major pick-and-pull places around me. None for sale on ebay or anywhere that I can find for less than ridiculous amounts either...

Why not rebuild it? It'd be much easier if you're already pulling it out. You'd want to freshen up a junk yard motor anyways, right?

Tip: bp engines (miata 1.8L) came in other more common cars ie would be cheaper and more plentiful.

I mean, you don't post that often any more, but when you do I cannot help but to laugh at your destruction of newbs.

Sorry, guess I forgot to mention a key point, I'm really looking for an NB motor. I am in the process of rebuilding my engine using some parts from another BP motor and new parts. Waiting on receiving the block and crank back from my machine shop now.

Sorry also for the late response, hopefully things will be coming together soon.

Also, in reference to the "intro post", I'm not new to forums thus didn't have the desire to go through with making an introductory thread. I have/had no intention of putting much info/media in it anyways being as I don't have much to put forth. As for my location, anyone who's curious can just ask, right?

Look SamNavy has been around for years and actually is usually one of the few nice guys to Newbs. You failed to make a decent intro thread, and you also seem to not have read any of the stickies. So yes you will get made fun of.

Put your location in your information. I happen to have a spare 1.8 motor possibly for sale, but not knowing where you are located puts a big damper on me bothering to contact you.

I have read many of the stickies. I also have made fun of others before, as well as have been made fun of. So that aspect of forum life doesn't bother me really.

If someone has a part they want to sell badly enough, they will go through the trouble to message me or email me. If you don't want to sell it, don't bother me with semantics.

I'm tired of these useless, time wasting posts. Let's keep things progressive, please.
