Default Newb from Washington

Hey all,

I've been a long time lurker and decided to make an account, but forgot to make a meet and greet post (oops). Anyway the car I've been messing with is a Red 1992 Miata with about 176k on the clock. I've already done some upgrades to it; coilovers, wheels/tires, 1.8 differential with RX7 LSD, and a front lip. Plans at the moment are to get a better roll-bar, bucket seat, and to get the car running on MegaSquirt in preparation for boost.

Here's a couple pics of my car if any of you were interested:

Thanks guys, hope to be boosting around soon!

looks like you may have thrown a NA8 rear subframe brace in there with the Rx7 LSD.
nice.

The brace was something that came with the car, maybe the previous owner put it on? I'm really liking the RX7 Limited Slip right now, haven't taken it to a track/autox yet though

I don't think I've seen your car before! Glancing at your sig I'm guessing it's a pretty rowdy setup, kind of what I'm planning on doing when I get the $$$. Maybe we'll see each other at a car meet in the future? (You going to the XXX Import Meet in Issaquah?)

No plans for me to go to XXX anytime soon i have the car ripped apart in the shop for the winter doing a lot of updates. There always seems to be a lot of rice at XXX when i drive by too. Im always down for a good mountain run though when it gets nice out. Also Mt Rainier would be a fun drive.

Empty guy- I have a 1.6 now in the car with a turbo setup (you can see in my build thread) But ill be selling the whole kit next winter when finish the 1.8 VVT swap to finance the EFR turbo setup, If youre patient and interested im sure we could work out a good deal.

My dad bought the car a couple years ago as a project and he's decided to sell it to me, now that I have a decent job and make ok money. He's been letting me modify it in the meantime while I cough up the money for it.

I'd join for a Mt Rainer run too The last one I tried to go to (with MiataNW which I have mixed feelings for) got cancelled like twice in a row due to weather.

Oh that sounds sweet, any particular kit? I'm keeping an eye on classifieds in the meantime, but am in no rush.
