Hi !

Well , i've been a long time lurker here , reading, reading, and reading some more before attempting to buy some CXracing turbo kit with a cheap chinacharger instead of a proper td 04 with a revent downpipe( since i live in the EU) and all the goodies that come with it.
Iv'e never wrenched on a car before till i got my miata's . The first time working on a car was actually fitting brembo brake pads on my green daily NB.That one has around 190.000 km and had 160 something km on the counter when i bought it about -one and a half year- ago.I bought myself a DIYPNP for my nb ( a better choice would be an MS3 by Braineack but hey, at least i started) started reading the MS2Extra forums, devochtmx5, miata.net,mx5nutz, but miataturbo was the one the best for what i was searching for.I tried to fit my DIYPNP in my NB, found out my car had an immobilizer (EU spec) and figured out it was not the smartest idea to work on your daily 😂So, then i bought this as my project car.( Tell me if the pic is to huge, i don't need negative cats already )

It's now fitted with a DIYPNP that doesnt do what i want it to do ,bmw tps, Aem Uego wideband, GM iat,and some fancy racing steering wheel, and a self designed 3d printed bracket for the tps. I'll give you guys the file if you need it.I will start a new thread about the DIYPNP issues later with all the links i found with a similar problem like mine, since spoon-feeding is a big nono here. The end result would be a 200 WHP MX5 with a TD04 or similar, new injectors, downpipe, new clutch, mishimoto radiator and some small stuff i forgot about for now.

So yeah, if you guys need some 3d printed stuff, hit me up. I like designing stuff 😙

Hello sixshooter. I'm located in the Southern provence of the netherlands.

Iv'e actually got an issue at the moment. My DIYPNP works on a 12v supply attached to my laptop, but as soon as i put it in my na miata, it gives no connection to tunerstudio. Iv'e read these threads:

Megasquirt Support Forum (MSEXTRA) ? Miata DIYPNP works on power adapter, not in car. (View topic)

I loaded the basemap, and configured the settings.
It seemed to be a tps grounding issue.Firstly i had the stock Tps in the car, on which it didn't turn over. I checked in the 1990 autotune manual again and i bridged TPS straight to ground with a 1K resistor. Megasquirt didnt react to this, so i cut that connection and afterwards tunerstudio connected while in the car. Today i tried it again, but this time with the bmw tps connected (an e39 3 pin one )and the correct connections from SIG to 4L and VREF to 1N. The car doesnt crank over, and i also don't see a battery/handbrake light when i flick the switch, which it did one time when the diypnp was working.I measured the battery and it showed 12,6volts. The weird thing is when i wan't to start i don't hear the starter going round.I also tried it without the tps but it stayed the same.Have you got any idea whats going on ?

O, and about the car not starting.. The diyautotune diypnp build didn't mention jumping the fuel pump to ground in the AFM connector Car idles now, really rough, but it idles.I found the solution on trubokitty and in some posts here
