I have been floating around a while and now am about to take the plundge. I am comming from a 1991 SM. The car is great, but I am foced to sell it.

I am looking at a 1991 with a 4.2 fm/begi kit. I drove it to day and was suprised that it spooled around 4k. I had a 91 that had a gredy kit on it. I thought it spooled quicker for some reason.

Is there anyone out there who is running this kit?
What is the turbo size?
Is there any way to get it to spool a little sooner?
Any advice on this kit?

I trqaided my SM for a 01 with a hardtop, 6 speed and torsen (3.93 gears I think), HDDDHT, FM sways and springs, AGX struts, RB intake, lightened Flywheel and stage 1 exeddy clutch. This car reminds me of my old 2000 that I rolled.

Not that anyone really cars but just wanted to introduce my self and let people know that I had a car. As certain people can be quite harsh on people who are new here.

Welcome. When's the turbo going in?

 

Well it's beeing taken off a car and hopefully it will be here by next week. At that time I will be installing the adaptronic and getting a basic tune. Then the turbo will come at a later datedue to the fact that I will have to buy a few items. I will also need a few days to install the kit.

I am not looking to be boosting a lot of boost. I am building this car to NASA's TTC class. So it will be around 8=10 psi.

I can't wait till it all gets in the car and running.
