Default Noob from indiana

My name is Drew, and i live in the evansville area. I recently bought a 93le, that i plan(ned) to turbo on the cheap.

The motor has close to 170k miles on it however, so i just bought a 1.8 that a local guy was rebuilding. i've picked up a set of 430cc injectors and plan to build a MSII to run it all. I think i'm going to pick up a used WRX turbo, or possibly a VF40 from a legacy GT (which is what i daily drive btw).

there's a guy local to me that builds turbo manifolds for a living, so he's going to do the mani, and all the piping for me, and possibly a custom intake mani as well....

this forum has a ton of great information, and i'm sure i'll be doing a lot of reading here as the build progresses.

Welcome aboard Drew. It looks like you have a well thought off plan of attack so I won't comment.

Please go back to "User CP" and put your location below your Avatar. That way, anyone who's close to you may also assist you.

Now, pics or ban!

Hello fellow Hoosier!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm sure I'll have plenty of dumb questions when the time comes to get the megasquirt up and running...
