no, i'm serious. it's not longer the land old farts come to die. it's the land we freeze our asses off. about a month ago we had a freeze morning, which we did freeze. 19* where i live... that's pretty cold for FL.
and right now we're at 37* per my outside thermometer.
so, yeah.. pretty cold.

Hey Welcome. I'm a refugee from a year in Naples- Glad to hear that the snow birds are getting chilled for a change ;o).
Only thing I really really liked about Soth West Florida (other than most of the people - really laid back - nice.) was the awsome cars that appear during the winter (rich people) season. Too bad there aren't many roads worth driving on- I mean, go straight for 10 miles- when you DO get a corner- there is a stop light! ;o). By the way- in the 50-60's here on the front range -south in Colorado past few days.

what? there are plenty of roads! well.. maybe not where you live... but in tampa/pasco/dade we've got plenty of driving roads. you should join the tampabaymiatas.net and check out our threads about the "dade city run" it'll be this sat, and it WILL test most of your driving skills. here's the link...
