Noob to turbos

Uh, i gave up need to go back to basics, what i really need is someone to refer me to a site or explain where all the crazy vacuume hoses go to get this car running.....
with the 3/4 to 1 inch line off the bottom side of the intake the car idle'd properly!!!! as soon as i hooked it back up tada the engine crapped out again. me wonders if i got a hose conneceted wrong?
heres what i have hooked up that i know of:
bov to intake.... do i need a regulator?
intake to stock fuel pressure regulator(i have a begi awaiting me 30 min away)
underneath intake hose to boost gauge
also should I have the canister hooked up if im still running the stock fuel pressure regulator?
