Default Noobie from Socal

Hey everyone, my name is Ricky. Basically I know nothing about turbos/turbo setups and figured I could browse around and learn bits of info from here. I daily my miata, so if I was ever to boost it would most likely be a low boost application. Guessing that equates to a more reliable setup?

I drive a red 1991 mx5 that I have owed for a little over 5 months or so and love it. But progress is slow. Hopefully over time it can be as dope as some of the rides I seem to see here and there. Anyways thats my short little intro. Glad to be part of the forum

EDIT: Pics for anyone that is interested.

sleepy eye lids and so cal ftw ! We were rocking that sleepy look in RX7 community back in 2004! havent seen that in a while, it looks good. and Bro my cousin lives in san bernadino !
As far as going turbo, throw in a t25 and boost away. I have a dsm side mount intercooler which will be enough to cool air up to 250hp worth of air, you can find those everywhere cheap !

Life takes over, cars take a break. Sorry I didn't respond to this post. Speaking of rx7 lol I had an FC for a few months but sold it to fund my miata. Sleepy eyes are still around and kicking man I see it all the time. As for the turbo im still working on the suspension on my car, trying to get all the bushings, boots, ball joints and such replaced before I do anything else.

Sleepy eyelids are semi-gangsta, like baggy pants down around mid-thigh level that gets you kicked off airplanes.

It's whatever just something I did when I was bored. It's not permanent. I can control it so if I get tired of the broken headlight look I can go back to flush with the body. I don't really care either way as long as my car runs.
