Default oh dear, here we go again

I've made the mistake of buying an '97 ,MX5 black classic 1.8. I say mistake because i know i'll be spending far too much money and time on it simply because its a hell of a lot better than i thought it could be!

I'm stuck with stock at the moment because my insurance wont allow me to make changes, that policy expires in a couple months so i can switch to a more flexible one before i start modding.

My main passion is (or should i say was!) this...

http://www.16vminiclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5136

I've owned that for over 16 years now, its in the middle of a rebuild at the moment and expect it complete early part of next year but we'll see if that happens! it's had a 2.0 16v in the Min for over 12 years so it needed a new lease of life with turbo and 4x4.

The reason for getting a 5 is simple, i needed to learn how to drive something other the FWD before i finished the Min with 4x4, now i'm liking it too much

Wow, that is amazing! Tiny cars are awesome, AWD turbo cars are awesome - that is one of the coolest projects ever.

You'll love the Miata too. It offers a few nice things the mini won't quite get you. Top down is awesome, handling balance is pretty sweet, and the steering is really really communicative. If you could ever find an NA or NB manual rack you'd love it.

Thanks guys. I have to say i'm really liking the miata and already have some plans in the pipeline to make things a little more personal. I love the way it drives so much more refined than a mini with big power, but i still have to finish off the mini project, should be great fun on track.
