Hi, I'm Andy. I have a 2002 Special Edition that also happens to be turbo'd. No it's not an MSM, and Yes, it's got a built motor.

I got the car back in 2020, and have never once thought to actually create an account on this forum, despite using it many times to find information in some really useful threads.

I'm currently elbow deep in a project (replacing a blown head gasket) that should have taken only a few days, but i've turned it into months with scope creep, as one does.

Anyways, I'm glad to be here, and look forward to sharing this adventure with yall.

Hey, nice to meet ya! I blew my headgasket after returning from MATG 2023 by doing a small pull near my house after a long week, trying to blow off a little steam. It perfectly blew between two cylinders and didn't pass the oil/coolant threshold. Still pretty unsure how that all happened, but I consider it a blessing.

After several "while I'm in here"s, I'm doing a new Cometic headgasket, and replaced my FM 2560R turbo kit with a brand new Kraken Garrett G25-550 setup with his full 3" v-band exhaust. It's been quite the waiting game, but she's getting there, and should be on the road soon. Currently waiting on the manifold to get back from Ceramic Coating from a local place to me in VB.

I'm reusing the FM intercooler and piping, as I don't have Power Steering or A/C, so I can clock the turbo any way I want, and I'll be installing the turbo kit soon, as I expect to get the manifold back this week.
