So I wanted a fast car without a monthly payment. After some searching I realized that RWD and a top that goes down is win. For cheap I received a rust free 97 base model with 125k, a flaking clear coat, and a serious methanol habit after an alleged HG and head machining. Found massive gouges and .002+ warpage on the head. I'll be following the typical forum recommended route and going MS3 (built per The Brain's instruction) WBO2, injectors, etc. Everything relevant to what I intend to do has been covered extensively and I don't intend to break any new ground with this car.

I got my head back from the machine shop today and put about 30 trouble free miles on. Looks like it's about time to order an ECU.
