as far as welding i use a miller syncro wave 200 tig, and a mini mig (lin. mig 130) trying to pick up a plasma cutter. also have a south bend lathe and a couple of drill press's
As for "seeing a badass build" no not really...im tring to figure out what i need to do as of yet. i bought this car from a guy a couple of hours from my home. i also bought a 1996 1.8 liter from the same guy that day. I paid more than i should have and drove it all the way home...and then for about a week...then my "long nose 1.6" ????????(thought it was just a short nose problem) crank wooddruff key track was trashed. so i pulled the motor. then the trans and rear diff....pulled the 1.8 apart and it was trashed as well. then i pulled the rear diff.
the 1.8 liter engines' clyinder where outta rounds...i measure 8 times to be sure. going to bore to 84.5mm(maybe) broken water pump and tons of stop leak in the water jackets..
the rear diff was a torsen... but it was weak....very weak. so i opened the case up and low and behold, i removed a full dixie cup full of scrap metal chunks. i picked up a torsen two and stubb shafts.
and dont get me started on the suspension. i went ahead and bought energy suspension master kit. also planing to buy the fm vmaxx2.0 kit
planing on vf43.....
