Default Hi All! Herbie needs boost!

Hi guys!

My name is Wouter, 22, from the Netherlands.

I have owned my little red '92 for about 1.5 years now, who i named Herbie, because i always used to watch those movies as a kid.

He's a 1.6, major mods done by me are:

TA Technix coilovers
Klutch SL1 8.5J ET17 15's wrapped in 195/50/15 Toyo T1R's
GV lip
1.8 open after my 1.6 VLSD exploded

My PO has done a full Postert kit (quite well known here in europe) of which i removed the front bumper and flares.

I wasn't planning on turboing anytime soon, but a great opportunity came up so i jumped on it.

Already this forum has provided me with a lot of great information, and i hope to gather (and perhaps even share) more knowledge!

Turbo plans for now will be very simple, as i want to get to know the car at each power level, and do upgrades where neccesary.

Parts i have decided on already are:

TD04
Custom made manifold and downpipe (my friend is looking into possibly creating turbokits, i will be his testsubject)
1.8 injectors
Aftermarket ECU (looking at a DIYPNP)

First stage will be stock clutch, so 140-150 HP, just going to baby the clutch a little.

When i'm done with the clutch or it's gone (whichever comes first) i will be upgrading the clutch and injectors, and upping the boost. Goal will be 180-ish HP.

Alright, i'm done talking, have some pics!

Picture from when i bought him:

And here it is as today:

Do you have any advice or tips for such a low boost build? Thanks in advance!

Hoo boy, these pictures are big, any way to resize them or do i have to do that manually?
