Turbo noob. help.
Hey guys my name is aaron. I am going to college in reno nevada. Ive had a miata for about 2 years now. It came with some shitty ebay coilovers that i still havent replaced but they work fine. The only other suspension mod that ive done is a racing beat front sway bar that I got for free. Since I got the car, Ive wanted to put a turbo on it. So I saved up and bought a flyin miata kit on it with a gt2560r with a megasquirt. My tuner told me that I ran out of fuel at 5500 rpm and suggested that I get a new fpr and fuel pump. I now have a walboro 255, but now im looking for a fpr. Someone suggested a fuelab fpr but Im not sure which model to get. I eventually want to run flex fuel and im looking into getting some flow force 640cc injectors. I also need a clutch and would like to do the flywheel at the same time. Im looking at buying the flyin miata happy meal. The last thing im looking for is a radiator and fan shroud. is the cxracing set up reliable? Also since im new here, let me know if i fucked something up... just tell me before you attack me...
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Dont need fpr. You need no fuel mods other than ID1000 injectors (you already have the fuel pump, as long as its the HO high output version of the 255 you are good). Just save up for them. 550 new from 949racing, they are up for sale somewhat frequently in the classifieds.
Just recalibrate the injectors, pm me once you have the injectors, I'll send you a step by step.
Keep the stock fans unless you get SPAL (i think thats the name) fans.
My only experience with radiators is the supermiata crossflow is too good for under 50*F ambient. I have to block it off with cardboard.

Welcome. With bigger injectors and a megasquirt, you have no need for a FPR. FF are good injectors. I'm running them.
Also, put some detail in your profile or tag line or something. Things like location, year of car & basic mods so people can tell what you're working with by seeing any one of your posts.

It's good that you are starting over here, but you need to pay attention to this advice:
find another tuner. He is wrong about needing a new FPR, period.
You are on the right track with the bigger injectors.
Flyin Miata combo is a very good choice, so good on you there.

Its 300 bucks for the Flow Force 640cc injectors. Is 1000 too much fuel for my set up?
Is SPAL a brand?
supermiata radiators are probably too expensive for me haha

ID1000's are never too much fuel for a Miata, it just means your pulsewidths will be smaller. But the very precise control of the ID1000's make them easy to control. If you will never go over 250 whp and will never use E85, you can get Flow Force. But if it happens that you ever want to do either of those, you'll wish you got the 1000's. There's no downside to going with the 1000's other than cost.
Is SPAL a brand?
Just google "SPAL fan"

CX Racing aluminum radiator works fine on my turbocharged 1997 miata. I don't overheat on the track. Don't get the CX racing dual fans, stick with a single stock fan. With the CX racing dual fan set up, you're actually choking air flow when the car is in motion.

I have talked to my tuner and it turns out I misunderstood what he said. He was saying if i didn't want to replace my injectors it would be cheaper to put in a new fpr. Im going to save up and go with the injectors.

Yes, I have these hood louvers.
NA Miata Aluminum Hood Vents ? R Theory Motorsports
Also focus on ducting. There's a cooling master thread made by Emilio with lots of information.

Everything you buy and install today should work with your plans tomorrow....Get the ID 1000s
A single low profile 13" SPAL will do the deal....What I was told and we are going for a fair bit more horsepower.
IIRC Andrew (Savington) said to use both existing fan leads wired in parallel, to wire the new fan....Double check that info though!
